Inscription: I Have Suffered.
In Affectionate Remembrance of Martha the beloved wife of Michael Fish of Dukinfield who died May 25th 1870 aged 47 years.
Oh! yes. It is hard at the last separation,
To part with the mother who loves us so true,
The home and the heart feels a wide desolation,
At bidding our dear beloved mother adieu.

Martha ROTHERA (thought to be the daughter of the above couple) is also buried in this grave but is not mentioned on the memorial stone. She died aged 30, and was buried on 3rd February 1883.
